First, letΓ’β¬β’s calculate the average ages of Sohail, Afzal and Bilal.
(17+16+12)/3 = 15
Assume the age of Aslam as X
The average increases by 5 when added Aslam age i.e., 15+5 = 20.
So the average ages of Sohail, Afzal, Bilal and Aslam is
(17+16+12+X)/4 = 20
45+X = 80
X = 35
Therefore the age of Aslam is 35
(17+16+12)/3 = 15
